It might be interesting to read the report of more rigorous research that tried to be a bit more open.

Heh. I didn't read the comments to the article, just it and the report. They were much less kind. Oddly few comments along the lines of 'yes, this proves that all men are evil and women saints'. There's not much of the reverse, either, but it seems reasonable to suggest that they were distracted by the first people pointing out flaws.
