I just found out that I have an interview for the keeper position with ZooMontana!!!! EEEEE sooooo excited, I totally didn't think I'd get an interview as I didn't know if I'd be qualified for it. Well work is done for now. I did end up taking the job through the summer though so I am back to work Memorial weekend. Going to be some nice pay checks coming now that I'll get 72 hours a pay period plus I'm supposed to work Memorial Day so that's Holiday pay and I love the state's holiday pay rate, lol. Love waving to all the little kids and watching them just stare as the tractor goes by, listening to all the old farmer stories from the old timer volunteers, and watching the cardinal run into the window and door multiple times every single morning. So in the morning I am off to the farm (at the Zoo of course) to learn to drive the tractor. Which is actually not scary to me anymore even though it is a manual transmission which I have never driven before, but the scary part is having to pull those two trollies *sigh* Oh well should be fine. I am continuely amazed about how much happier and better life has gotten recently.
