*shrugs* Just being honest. People don't give this country nearly the respect that it deserves. The mentality of the vocal majority nowadays scares me, I think we all need a bit of patriotism.

Ticks me off plenty too, hon - oh, believe me :p I'm sure you know me well enough to imagine ;)

I would actually say, though, that the majority of the people here do love their country and what it has always stood for, but it's a slim majority, and the vocal minority seems to have rabbies. *le sigh* That's kinda one of the things that sucks about being on Livejournal. People forget that there are viewpoints other than the official LJ one and feel quite free to unleash the vitriol.
