My step mom is just really against Andrew and I. We are in a 'long distance' relationship. He lives like a half hour away or so, by train. Hours drive on the freeway. I'm in the OC he's in LA. We met on the internet when we were little kids, and we've been together in a relationship for two years. My mom hates the idea, but she's a two face. Acts like she supports us. But says crap behind my back. :/ The only reason she 'grounds' me from the computer, is to keep me away from Andrew. I can't see him, or visit him until I get a job. So yeah. ): I'll make you pancakes though. :)

wow, sorry to be blunt, but if i was in this situation, i'd ask her what her problem is with him. unless she had a reason to, otherwise that's pretty heartless.

LOL. I know what you mean. I'm just very very mean to her now. It was so funny. Today, I told her that when we go to the doctors, I don't want her coming into the office with me, that I want to just go in there, and keep everything confidential now. I want to deal with it all on my own, and I know that really hit her hard. So now, she's not talking shit behind my back. :) That's all I wanted, now she's not saying much to me about the pc either. She realizes that I'm just going to do whatever I want. And she's damn right about that. :3

I'm so happy with Andrew. My mom has never accepted the fact. She said to my nana in one of the undercover emails, that they would just have to bare and grin. As if we can't make it. - Sigh. - You'd think after two years, she'd leave me alone.

You definitely need to put your mom in line. I know how she is, but this is your entire family you're dealing with now. I've already voiced my opinion to you, and all I can hope for is one day she's going to snap out of this whole control act and just realize that your happiness is your happiness. Screw everything she says. You'll get a car, you'll get your job, when you're ready. When you can. When your parents [ mostly Mom, okay 90% Mom ] start making more efficient efforts to help you instead of just sitting there and trying to tear you and Andrew apart. ^^ You both will be okay.
