Hey Hey! I finally got to the library!! the past two weeks have been totally CRAZY!! still no internet at home and it doesn't look like there is much hope of that in the near future

Let's see; boo to no internet, yay to meeting Pat, yay to starting classes, boo to overpriced supplies and books, yay for shopping, boo to no dinner, and eek to homework. Think I got it all.
Um, nope; gotta ramble myself here.
Will they let you eat in the classroom between classes? Or maybe you could sit in front of the room and eat? That's what I tend to do since I only get fifteen minutes.
Can't wait to see what you make in class! Be sure to take some pictures and keep us up on what they're like when and if you can.
hi mar!!! glad you are so excited about your classes! theres nothing worse than having to go to a class you hate. and yeah...art supplies can add up quick! even when its just a hobby! lol im with steph...i would just eat in class. lol
You beat me to it...I didn't even get to post about our lunch yet. It was a lot of fun and we're definitely doing it again! Thanks you for saying I'm very cool! :> I think you are too!!!
I was an art major and I know how expensive all the supplies are...Pearl was my bestest friend!
I'm obviously late but... happy birthday, Marianne! :)
I do remember how expensive art supplies are. My eyes were forever popping out of my head at the stuff I had to buy for art classes in school. There was only one place I could go to buy them, and it was in the next town. I didn't really have to buy my own supplies, but I frequently ran out when I took art projects home to work on them, LOL.
Hm, you and Pat both mentioned "Pearl"--what's that? Or who is that? LOL
And once again, I sympathize with your lack of Internet. Having lacked it at home for 2 weeks, I can appreciate how nuts it must make you. Of course, for me it was worse because I need the Internet to do my work.
yeah it's expensive! I see Pat has answered the question :) yes lack of internet sucks! it's back now! we'll see how long it lasts! I'm not holding my breath! LOL!

In fact the new store that's opening (that I'm trying to get transferred to) is attached to a Pearl! LOL

So you think you might try to sneak in some artwork if you get transferred there? ;)
