Well there are a few punk versions of songs that I really like. Misty has a whole collection of Rocky Horror punk songs.

Check out the Sky High soundtrack. it is awesome. All 80's covers.

Also, I was very impressed with several songs that David Cook did from this year's American Idol. You can get them from iTunes and listen from there too. He did really neat twists to things like Eleanor Rigby, Billie Jean, and Hello.
