My sister had her baby. So far he's sufficiently normal-looking and not-scary, but if she bows to the pervasive use of one's infant as a default facebook icon, I won't know what to do ( Read more... )

I'm popping in b/c I went over to your blog. Very nice! While I, being in much the same situation as you, can't donate money, I want to see you finish your rockstar novel, as the world needs more of these. To that end, if you need a beta, I'm happy to offer myself for that.

That sounds super cool! Have you decided what medium you're going for to publish? Traditional, e-publisher, self-publishing, new wavey internet thingy?

I guess it does? lol. I was just never one to use GIFs or do picspams, so maybe that's why the point of the whole thing goes over my head. ;)

I don't really make them myself, but I like seeing what other people come up with. I guess it's also only fun when one actually knows/cares about the characters/fandoms in the game. I know last year the characters I liked got knocked out early on, and I lost interest.

I would also like to comment on my own post to ask WHAT THE FUCK MAKES PEOPLE UPVOTE A BABY PICTURE 60 TIMES AND COMPLETELY IGNORE BLOG POSTS THAT I PUT TIME AND EFFORT INTO?

PS I'm mentally composing a PM to you about the publishing thing, in which I will do my best to be helpful (but probably will not be), but first I need to hop around some and wake up b/c The Vile Beast got me out of bed way too early to show her that she already has food in her dish.
