Ha! I've done the EXACT same thing before. In Target. Over dishracks. Have you seen the $8 ones? Ri-dic-u-lous. Try $3 at Dollar General :P

for reals, best wishes! i did the same thing when i moved into a house for the first time and consequently became a salvation army whore. for the fleas though, borax is a powder and it's very inexpensive and it kills fleas AND eggs on contact and it also acts as a deterrent. sprinkle on carpet, couch, closets, wherever; let it sit and then vaccuum it up. i PROMISE YOU it works like woah and it's hella cheapy. [fleas are so hoggle!!]
