Positive feedback & September books
Today the Museums Journal review of my museum came out (that's the magazine for the Museum Association, our professional body in the UK) and they said that our emphasis on changing exhibitions and local partnerships was a breath of fresh air and just reading those words was amazing. Sorry I have't been posting much, I'm not having the most brilliant time at work or just generally and so I've gone a little bit into hibernation other than on twitter where at least everything is brief.
But a lot of reading in July which is a nice thing to be able to say!

I've been away in Margate for a few days and I did that thing where I hung all my hopes on it as being my chance to rest, recuperate and become super effective again which of course is STUPID because it was literally 3 nights. I just had the last bit of my Napue gin from last year's WorldCon in Finland. I might have to investigate whether I can get it in the UK because I've come to really love the flavour the rye gives it.
