No contest. Tesla was brilliant and Rasputin was a sociopath. (Although Rasputin does get points for being played by Alan Rickman in his biopic). And man-made lightening is AWESOME! Also, even though you didn't ask - Tesla would have totally kicked Edison's ass except that Edison was backed by the evil corporate face-squid GE.

Tesla gets it solely for the Bowie portrayal. If Bowie had also played Rasputin, then we'd have a challenge.
