The question that's been bothering me for a while is, do we ever see Tekla eat? Does she eat food, or does she get her energy from electricity or, like...solar power?
And are Tek people born all metal like that, or are they more organic to begin with and have their Tek parts added later? Or do they build their children instead of giving birth to them, like in the Disney movie, 'Robots'??
We don't see her eat, I don't think. Actually, I think she's the only main cast member who either hasn't been seen eating nor is there any reference to her and food anywhere. Interesting.

Hmm, I've always assumed the latter, but the issue of where she gets her sustenance from might not mesh with that theory. The thing that makes me lean more towards organic origins is the fact that Tekla is a deeply emotional person and is easily the most sensitive of the three female protagonist. She maybe a cyborg, but she doesn't really act robotic.
Mabye Tek was initially similar to Earth and people just gradually incorporated cybernetics into their bodies over the centuries as their technology advanced?
Huh. Maybe planet Tek has it's origins in over-industrialisation and everyone needs cybernetic parts in order to survive 'cos of pollution levels? That would be a bit of a contrast to how I imagine Planet Tek to be like - that is to say, a planet whose society sort of resembles Tekla's personality (serene, intelligent, utopian...)
Maybe Tek ran out of oxygen and food sources ages ago, and they had to engineer their bodies to convert energy out of different sources, such as electrical or solar power?
