The new Doctor

We've just seen the premiere of Season 8, but I can already tell that the Twelfth Doctor is going to a problem for me.

And by that, I mean a "I'm going to be really emotionally involved with this character, aren't I? Oh damn, I think I will" problem. I can feel it. He just clicked for me immediately, which I don't remember

I totally get that. That is how Eleven was for me. I didn't feel that with other Doctors, and I always thought I was the girl who loved all of the Doctors equally. And then Eleven just clicked for me.

Twelve seems really awesome too, though, and I'm really excited for this season. And for all the reasons you said. He's more introspective, more self-aware, and has an edge. Still has the Doctor ego, though, and you know he's the Doctor.
