Jordon and I bought rats. They're two medium sized females. We pretend that mine is a boy (we thought he was initially, only to late to find out that he wasn't), and we named him Charlie. He is white with gray spots...cute! Neeble is Jordon's. She is white and shy and really sweet. She'll just sit there and clean herself, and if you put your thumb ( Read more... )

That is really cool about the rats! I want a rat still. Maybe sometime in the future, after we've moved to Alaska (we're going in a couple weeks). I miss having a pet!

Your trip sounds fun! As is going to Taiwan! *is jealous* xD

They're so easy to care for. They are awake mostly at night, but they tend to adapt to your schedule, so they sleep when we do. It's really cute.

Where in Alaska are you going? I applied to University of Alaska (Anchorage&Fairbanks), and got full rides to both but I wasn't ready for such a dramatic move. Fairbanks still sends me packets and things. It's amusing.

We're going to be moving to Seward- I have a job as a biologist on fishing boats being an observer. I'm going to be applying to Fairbanks and Alaska Pacific University for grad school next year. It'd have been awesome if you had ended up there! Dramatic moves can be fun, or so I'm telling myself as I'm in the midst of doing it lol.

I sent Fairbanks scores of some sort before when I was at MTU, I've gotten packets from them too. 'Hai thar apply nao kthzbai!' ...lolcats have infiltrated my brain. D:

lol I know how that is. I can look at lolcats pictures for hours.

I'm still thinking of transferring to Alaska. Right now I have a full-ride grant to ASU, though.

But still, moving to Alaska?! That sounds exciting. And boats are exciting. I've been to Alaska, and it's really pretty. Although 24 hours of daylight was annoying after awhile...
