Great chapter as always. I love the little house that Richard built, and how they each showed the other one their scars. I like that Kahlan finally told him about her insecurities.
But now I'm worried that she'll never get better. Six months and she's still gaunt and can't walk very far? I can't even tell if that's progress or not! I hate the idea of K never being able to ride horseback on her own or fight with daggers again. And R can't be her caregiver forever. Even a short stay in the oasis is probably too long for him since he needs to be in Dahara. Ack. I'm just full of worries. But I trust you'll wrap things up in a satisfactory way next chapter.
And don't be worried, Kahlan is definitely making progress, even if it's been slow progress. Richard would never have left for the People's Palace if she wasn't, no matter what arguments she used. Hopefully you'll like the way it all wraps up. :)
Love that Kahlan is finally starting to really feel alive again. And of course Richard is beyond perfect as usual and making them a home is just the fairytale dream that only he would actually be able to accomplish! <3 I'm so serious that all of us girls are just ruined for any guys in real life! We all want Richard! hahaha Amara is so acorable too I love picturing Richard holding and talking to her ;) I'm so sad its almost over!
Yeah, Kahlan is finally starting to feel happy and alive again. Getting out of Isham for awhile was exactly what she needed. LOL, I know! Guys in real life just never seem to think of all the sweet, charming, perfect things guys come up with in stories. And I'm so glad you like little Amara. :D Thanks so much for reading. I can hardly believe it's almost over myself.

Yay Kahlan is finally starting to learn how to deal with the poison and with everything that happened to her.
And Richard building a cabin for them to go to and relax and heal was so sweet. They both deserve it after all they've been through.
