Religious reading

I've been having a busy but not overwhelming semester so far. My classes are: Zen Arts of Ministry, Spiritual Formation and the Life of Study, Meaning Making, and 2nd Year Mandarin. That is very well put. Consumerist reading. What an interesting way of describing skimming. It is true, too - and often taught. I remember professors in my political science courses explicitly mentioning that one of the reasons they assign so many reading assignments is to teach students the art of skimming quickly and digesting the main point of an argument swiftly and accurately. You get the main points, but never get to enjoy the entire picture because you are so hurried for time that you can only focus on what is important.
