Fragmentary Thought: I finally got around to seeing Yami no Matsui like last year--it seemed too scary for me to see by myself so I had to harass both of my sisters into it. And omg, it is totally on crack. In a good way.

hunt down these shows by any means necessary: fringe (airs this fall on fox, an x-files clone from jj abrams) charlie jade (an alternate universe tale of corporate crime and loss of identity filmed in capetown, south africa) battlestar galactica (of COURSE!) firefly/serenity (DUH!) lost (it really is sci-fi, i swear, and pretty hard-scifi at that) comics/manga: DMZ (a second american civil war, manhattan is the DMZ) Y:The Last Man (every single creature with a Y chromosome dies instantaneously, save two) Deathnote (write someones name in this journal, and the next day, they die) i got lot's more where that came from if you're interested.

Hey! Long time no see. I do watch BSG religiously, as well as Stargate Atlantis, and I've seen all of Firefly/Serenity. I do think there are great sci-fi shows out there, it's just that sometimes I flip past the sci-fi channel and they are showing a movie like Ice Spiders (no joke) or Harpies. I'll take a look at the other stuff, mostly I'm excited about the new Joss Whedon show and waiting to see if Season3 of Heroes is any good. We should hang out when I'm back in SD!
