A wildlife-y sort of day

This morning while riding my bike to work on the river bikepath just the other side of Britannia Park something out the corner of my eye caught my attention. I turned the bike around, came back, and there alongside the path was a rather large snapping turtle. Probably about 2' long or a bit more from snout to tip of tail. Quite alive - a couple of

Yep, looks like the same one - has the same apparent damage to its right eye.
