I need a job.
Why doesn't anybody want to hire me?
I have a decent resume.
I have applied to at least two dozen places.
This is consuming my life.
I will take anything.
Almost.
My pride is of no consequence,
Nor is my dignity.
I just need a job.

i want to hire you. i think i'm going to uno's tomorrow to apply for summer, part time, and you could join me. then we'd be known as those crazy cummens girls who always smell like pizza and call each other fog.

It's small comfort coming from someone who has worked retail for the past 18 months but don't let it drive you crazy. Finding a career right out of college consumed me and I was proverbially beating my head against a wall applying to everything under the sun and getting nowhere. So I had a retail job that I, at best, tolerated and I was miserable and bitter because I kept getting defeated and rejected. I've since started rolling with the punches, figuring that the right position will appear in due time as long as I keep my eyes open and keep a positive mindset.

Ultimately, keep hope alive. And I know we barely ever hung out at LF but if you want another opinion on anything or advice or if you need anything, be in touch.
