Fair enough. I think my problem with much of the Ginny-criticism in the fandom is the way it's phrased, you know? The "she's a slut because she went out with three boys in two years" and, worse yet, the "she's tainted because what happened in CoS was OMG!Symbolic Rape" arguments do strike me as inherently sexist (and I've seen people argue both of the above in all seriousness).

Yes, I agree with you on both of those. I just get sick of the 'you're a woman too, so shut up' form of argument, which is in abundant supply at FA, and of being told that the only reason I dislike H/G is that my ship didn't sail or I'm a weak woman who can't deal with a strong one.
