I've been seeing a huge upsurge recently in the abuse of the phrases "may have" and "might have" by journalists, generally for quite reputable news sources. This may well become my personal pet grammar hate (normally I'm an equal-opportunity grammar nazi).

When I posted it, that was the answer I was hoping for, but I'm not convinced it's right any more. Shouldn't it be "you and me" in both cases? :S
