MFI are useless b&$t&rd$

MFI delivery men turned up with only 75% of the order correct. I'm now left with a bunch of bits of which I am able to construct maybe 50% of the total furniture. Earliest delivery time for the items they missed? The 4th of May ( Read more... )

Ahh, human error. I remember when I was working on a warehouse shipping system: it wasn't until quite a late stage that the client pointed out that yes, there does need to be some sort of facility to change the contents of the order after it has shipped, because the people who work in the warehouse are fuckwits.

How do four boxes of the wrong furniture get all the way from a central distribution area without anyone noticing until the delivery drivers unload it?

because the people doing the shipping don't care.

I'm modifying one of the bits of furiture with powertools to make it slightly narrower if that counts.

Next time I will whittle my study from a single mighty oak.
