I found a new place to live -- at 19th and Valencia, in the fucking Mission. Ideal in every way. My new roommate... well, it remains to be seen what she's actually like to LIVE with. But she's a quirky 30-year-old British Indian via Paris who thinks she's an alien sent down to earth to record the human experience in downtempo spoken word trip hop. ( Read more... )

I'm definitely coming back for Christmas this year! Thank God, one year without Midnight Mass is quite enough, thanks. Maybe I can even be convinced to sing...

ahh! I keep meaning to reply to your facebook message! the problem is I want to do it *justice*, and so I'm always like "oh I'll write to her this evening when I have time to really write!" and then of course that evening I don't have time to really write :( but I miss you and I am so happy to hear from you and I'm going to write to you so you get to write back and then I can get to hear all about what you're up to!! :)

haha, i really couldn't help commenting: you have a fainting thing? i have a fainting thing too (mine's vasovagal syncope). and my cardiologist gave me the same "we're almost positive it's not neurological" speech, but then i(/we?) never really followed through on it, and mine can be regulated fairly easily, so it's fine so far. anyway, solidarity on fainting disorders. hope all is well otherwise!

oh that's funny! I didn't know that. yeah, I suspect these abnormalities will be nothing worrisome, and it's probably just vasovagal syncope that I have too -- you know, the whole, I've-been-standing-up-too-long-in-90-degree-heat-so-I'm-going-to-faint-now thing really doesn't seem like it would be neurological.

but otherwise, all is indeed well, and belated congratulations to you on your graduation! glad to hear from you :)
