So, my thesis defense is on Wednesday. My final paper for philosophy is due on Monday. My final paper for German is due next Sunday.

And that's it. Then I'm done.

And I'm not quite sure how I feel about it.

I'm going *camping* with my friends for senior week.

Oh my.

I don't know about this. There will be lots of people close. We'll be in a tent. It'll be May. There's water. It's not isolated.

I hope it's fun...

Whatever. It's only $35 each for the week.

It's drizzling outside, and it smells like spring, in that damp, dirt-y, whole kind of way. Mmmm.

I hope it decides to stick around.

Going to Boston tonight to take my CBEST (California basic skills teaching) exam. But I have so much other stuff to do and I'm a bit overwhelmed. The thesis is due in two weeks. AHHHH crunch time.

So, I'll be teaching next year! In California. Bay area. I just got accepted today; now comes the hard part: taking all the tests, enrolling in a credentialing program, finding the right school... interviewing ( Read more... )

My friends came into my room today when I was out and MESSED UP ALL OF MY STUFF. But in a harmless way, like turning my calendar to June, hanging my shoes on my doorknobs, putting my microwave on my desk and my computer on the floor, messing my books out of alphabetical order. It's snowy today, and even though it's only 3:45 in the afternoon, it's already dark enough to be 6. We're supposed to get around a foot of snow. Crazy.
