We had the quietest  of New Year's Eves here.  We all are in the grip of a nasty cold that just won't let go, so we stayed in, medicated ourselves like mad, had kielbasa and sauerkraut, and watched the first few episodes of Luther.  There are worse ways to see off the old year

Oh S - I'm so excited for you! That's wonderful news about the ticket :) I can't wait to hear your talk at Pennsic next year about the journey.

We're muddling through on the sniffle front. Melly's cough is bad, and my throat pain is kind of tidal, but God willing we'll be squared away to start the work week. We missed you all!
