Well, the 10-day forcast doesn't quite reach to Frostburn yet, but it's close. Site temperatures are not expected to rise above the mid-30's in that period, and some form of snowfall is expected 6 out of 10 days. Not too shabby ( Read more... )

Well done, in the name of all that is good, compassionate and decent.

I just found a preview for what looks like it will be an amazing pilgrim-filmed documentary for the Camino. (The dude walked the same route we'll be following alone carrying all his video recording gear in addition to his other stuff, and acted as his own crew). I was thinking maybe we could do the Polar Bear Swim at Frostburn as a fundraiser for the Susan Komen foundation. We could get folks to sponsor us either for a flat fee, per minute spent in the water, or so on.
