Although you're not laughing, I hope it at least made you feel a little better posting this.
I know we're not friends, although I'd like to be, but I do care about your feelings and even though you were hurt by this somebody, I'm glad there's someone else there for you to care about your wallet being lost and things like that and I wish nothing but the best for you both.
