The last little connecting flight gave me the shudders. Ever since I watched the pilot episode of Lost, I haven't been a very good flier. White-knuckles. I think the last time I was on a plane, I bruised my palms from holding onto the handrests too hard ( Read more... )

Nothing better than keeping warm with laughs, right?

I was in a plane crash several years ago, and I definitely get nervous for every takeoff and landing.

Oh, no honey. Well, I sort of really feel foolish now. Knock on wood, no crashes here. I've just seen really convincing ones on TV, and got all shaky paranoid.

Hey, it's cool. No one was injured, it was just scary as hell. I figured statistically speaking, I'm safe now, because who's in more than one plane crash in their lifetime, right?

I've never been fond of flying either. I always get headaches and I try to fall asleep but I'm always too nervous.

Pretty icon.

Aw. I recommend nice, relaxing music. Something that makes you feel safe, and happy.

Thank God you weren't headed to Chicago. It's too small of a world sometimes. Glad you arrived safely, and there was no reason for your fear to be validated.

Whenever I mention that I'm learning to fly, most of the time, the reaction is cringe. I've also recently gotten into Lost. And well, there are other reasons to worry, so no, you're not being a ninny. It's just something you don't enjoy, you're not comfortable with it, but you deal.

As for dressing for fashion, while I can understand it, if I'm not comfy, I won't do it. All that being said, I'll have to keep this in mind while I pack to go to London myself.

Tomorrow, I fly out early Monday morning. I'm going to visit with Norman Reedus, and I might possibly meet up with others too. I'm only going to be there for a few days though, then I'll be home for a while before going to New York.
