Parmesan Question

Whenever I'm asked if I miss meat, I can say honestly that I don't. There's nothing remotely compelling about eating meat that I miss in the seven years I went veggie. The convience of it is something of a loss, but once you know what to do and what to avoid, it's not a problem ( Read more... )

I love chicken parmesan. Mmm...
I figure that I'm probably going to end up becoming a vegetarian someday (probably as soon as I have to do all my own cooking, haha. I'm both paranoid about meat being cooked thoroughly, and grossed out by raw meat), or at least the kind of semi-vegetarian that still eats fish. Eating meat doesn't make much sense to me on any level, except the one of it tasting good...but there are lots of other things that taste good, too, like pizza!
Good luck with your recipe experiments! :)

My journal is semi-public, but I haven't noticed that it makes any more people comment or anything. But it seems like for every person who comments on something on the internet, ten other people read and didn't comment (like with roaches). So, if you just wanted to feel like more people were reading your posts, making your journal partly public would probably do that.

I guess my object here is to get more online friends. I think people see the friends only banner and drift away.
Not that I don't absoluetly love it how often you comment, I'd like to get a few more every once in a while.

I was like you when I ate meat, paranoid about it being undercooked. I think I saw a 20/20 thing on it and it freaked me out.

You don't really have that problem when you're a vegetarian. If the food's cold it's cold. Just put it back in the microwave or throw it away!

If you're looking to get more friends, you could probably try finding a community you like that does friending memes (The mod makes a post with a few questions, which everyone answers in a comment, and then people can look through the other comments and see if they have anything in common with anyone else). I've never done one, but it seems like a lot of people find friends that way.
Whatever you decide to do, I wish you luck with it! :)
