Of holidays and dark days and pay raises and art

I am grateful that I get to spend this Christmas with both my chosen family - headlouse , nifercritter  and sfslim - and also with my birth family (well, kinda, if you count marriages..). I'll be spending Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning at Riverton, and Christmas Day with my sister-in-law and her parents. My brother will be with us via Skype at some point, hopefully,

Oh how I hate SAD, Seasonal Affective Disorder. I have always got it so badly. Last year I helped ease it quite a lot by going to bed early and getting up when the sun rises, around 6am. I will sit, all bundled up for warmth, outside with the sun hitting my face drinking hot tea. I get about an hour and a half of sun on my face and in my brain as well as having all that quiet Ariel time with the dawn. It made a huge difference last year.

This year I've been doing it less, but I've also been on Welbutrin. The Welbutrin helps quite a lot with SAD, as well. But oh how I love the sun.

Hey, I know way more about casting concrete than any person should! Also coloring, forming, texturing it too. I could be of help. (And when it warms up, you gotta come over for a bbq in my new back yard, complete with fresh concrete.)
