Thank you to everyone who sent me a lovely comment! Maybe that's why I'm not in a great deal of pain right now! :D

Seriously, though, I'm not on narcotics. When I woke up this morning, I had no pain medicine in my system and I was still okay!

Of course, the lack of pain comes at a price. My  cheeks stick out about 1-2 inches more than usual. Oh, well ( Read more... )

Yay, I'm so glad you are okay! :DDDDDD

Because the longer you wait, the more painful it is, apparently, since the roots are big.

...... ;___;

(My dentist told me to see an oral surgeon a few months ago, and my mum forgot about it. I brought it up yesterday because we were talking about you getting your wisdom teeth pulled out, and she was like "oh let's do it soon" but in a very unconcerned manner! I suspect that it will be a while before any step is made to remove my wisdom teeth. Oh well.)

Well, my dentist person did a good job, since I'm not really in any pain. I just look like a chipmunk. :D

His name is Dr. Ross (I think) and his practice is in downtown Bethesda. Go tell your mumsie!

actually, although it's more painful later on, it's bad to get them out when the roots aren't fully formed because there's a 40% increased chance that you'll get serious infections and complications because they had to dig up much further to get the teeth. my dentist looked at my panaramic x-ray and was like, "well, they'll need to come out, but until the roots are fully formed, it'd be a bad idea to get them out; i'd say, wait another year and then we'll remove them."

I guess that it's a dilemma, then, huh? When the dentist looked at Karen's X-Rays, he said, "you have to get them out right now! this summer", etc. Of course, there's also research showing that getting them out at all isn't really beneficial. But, at least for me, mine were all close to the surface, just without roots yet.

-_-' Oh, wisdom teeth!

Ayyii, I'm so glad no dentist has ever told me I need to get my wisdom teeth taken out ;_; I'm glad you're not in pain, though. My friend Juniper had hers taken out last year and she had to stay doped up for almost a week, and had some kind of reaction, and blah blah hideous pain D:!
