A bit of a late happy new year to all of you! For the first time ever Emi and I went to a New Year's party with friends. And alcohol. I think I drank more in one night than I have at any other one time in my life. And I still didn't get drunk. (Yay for Erika and her incredible self-control and self-knowledge.) It was all kinds of super fun, and now ( Read more... )

"34. What kept you sane?
SCA and SCAdians. Thank God for them."

*ROTFL* Boy are you in trouble! ;-D Nah, just kidding. I totally agree: the SCA helps keep my feet in "reality" as well as happy. Without it... yeah, let's not try that.

Wow, congrats on nearing your health goals! I need to re-lose about 15lbs this year, or at least some inches. I plan on gaining some muscle weight in places other than just my calves this time.

A rat for Valentine's? Okay, maybe I could see that, but it's interesting, you have to admit. Hey, if you want an new claddagh, you know my work has them, right? I can fix you up with a really spiffy one....

I know... the rats were a bit odd, which is why I was so thrilled that she understood that's what I wanted without my having to ask. I had seriously thought "you know, a rat would be an awesome Valentine's Day gift" like a week beforehand.

Ha, no I didn't know you sold claddaghs, but I suppose I should have figured as much. Do you carry any with stones? I'm looking for a claddagh with a garnet for the heart.

Yep, we have ones with stones/ enamel. I just did inventory on all the rings, so I know there are a few, but I'm not sure if a garnet was at the heart of any of them. That's kinda hard to find (but you knew that). There are some nice necklaces, too, with claddaghs if you're tired of rings. No stones in them, though.

If you go before tuesday (that's when my week starts) ask to see the trays of rings with your size in it, and if you don't see what you want, ask to see the backstock in that size. The necklaces are mostly in the Celtic case next to the amber. Happy hunting!
