Yeah, I've seen "Fat Rant Lady" before and by and large I agree with her points. Except that if that's how she feels, she must have never known someone with a real addiction to food. We're not talking I hate that I actually do have to eat several times a day to survive. We're talking I become lonely/angry/sad/depressed/some negative emotion and feel instantly super hungry as if I haven't eaten for eight hours. Even if I last ate (something reasonably sized and nutritious) two minutes ago. It is real. And it's a tough addiction to have to deal with because you really can't just go cold turkey. I'm proud to say that since coming out of denial in the past couple of days I've actually been able to start realizing which hunger is real "feed me or we die" hunger and which hunger is "I need a security blanket to hide with" hunger. *laughs* I actually only ate three times yesterday... and none of it junk food. Imagine! (Not that junk food is evil... but everything in moderation.)
