FICLET: Heaven and Endless [Jaejoong/Yoochun]

prompt 'sunrise' for in_vazn; written in approx. 20 minutes and is the most depressing thing i've ever done. stupidly depressing even. stupidly depressing and embarrassing.
"do you trust me, chunnie?"
"shouldn't i be asking you that?"
"no. not at all." jaejoong spreads his arms and leans forward over miles and miles of nothing but the sunrise flooding the earth in flames. he can feel yoochun's hands flex against his stomach, fighting to pull him back. he is grateful that they don't.
wetness falls on his shoulders in drops and jaejoong barely shows any response, only turns his head slightly.
"when are you going to stop doing this, joongie?"
"when you let me fall."
the hands do pull him back this time, rough and fearful, and jaejoong closes his eyes at the suffocating grip he's suddenly bound in. "i was kidding, chunnie."
"fuck, just shut up, jaejoong, you fucking bastard."
"yeah, i know," jaejoong answers, smiling against yoochun's temple. "i'm fucked up. you wanna try it too? maybe you're fucked up just like me but don't know it yet."
"jaejoong, stop."
"can't, chunnie," he sings, tugging on yoochun's hands, leading him to the edge. "want you to see what i see."
"jaejoong."
jaejoong means to hold yoochun over the edge of cliff the same way that was done to him. he doesn't expect the gravel underneath his feet to give, slip away. doesn't mean for such a terrified expression to find itself on yoochun's pretty, pretty face.
he catches yoochun's wrist and holds on for miles and miles, miles and miles of just them. laughter rings from his lips when salt stings them and he licks it all up, loves that the last thing he'll ever taste is yoochun.
"love you, chunnie. for loving a psycho bastard like me."
yoochun opens his eyes and jaejoong finally feels his stomach drop.
in the darkness, yoochun sees the sun rise in jaejoong's eyes.
