I'm finally home...crazy times at Heathrow, but thankfully we all made it out of the country safe and sound.

I'm actually really excited to go back to UMass!

haha, well, minus the cops with machine guns and the newspaper headlines screaming "the next 9/11?", it wasn't too stressful ;)

lmfao. how long was the flight, btw, out of curiosity? last year my advisor went somewhere to the UK and said it was only 6 hours (then told me how he would spend the flight high on children's nyquil ;))

Yeah, flying from Boston to London takes about 6 hours, and then the return trip was about 7 since it was "going against the currents" or something like that. Kinda strange considering it takes about 6 hours to get from Boston to California...for some reason it seems like anywhere in Europe should be a much longer journey!
