Have started daily yoga and have been at it for a few days now. Today I was first able to do a full back bend (like this) and I was so pleased with myself that I laughed triumphantly and promptly fell over. Aaaaand then couldn't do it again. But still! I've done it once, so that is promising. Will try again tomorrow ( Read more... )

If you are motivated by "hey, I can't do that. But I want to! Damn it, I WILL do it!" then it is a good plan. Otherwise, it will be frustrating.

if you want a kick in the face for yoga, try Ashtanga. i only know the basic sequence, but the upper level crap is hardcore-make-me-weep shit. lol

it makes me happy to see another budding yogini!! :D
