Right now I am listening to the disconcerting Marge Simpson noises--interspersed with hisses--of my poor little cat Lucy. We adopted a sweet, beautiful cat named Socrates today (yaaaaaaay!!) & the Bean is the saddest, most stressed ever, poor dear.
Keep your fingers crossed for mutual love in the very near future!

Because this is Rhode Island, we actually got him from Bethy! She couldn't keep him anymore, posted that she was looking for a home for him & ba-da-bing! He's a flamepoint Siamese--white-ish tan with orangey-red ears & face with ice blue eyes. Adorable! I'll try to post a picture
