Beer has been canceled for 10 days now. Things are good. The drunken geologists now realize that I really did mean it when I said: "I'm not drinking beer again until I remember how I got the bruise on my jaw." (It still hurts a bit. 2. Drank with undergrads today. Told embarrassing stories. The moral: If you're a grad student, don't go drinking with undergrads unless you're willing to humiliate yourself and become the topic of rumour-mongering. (D'oh.)

Failed utterly to create a useful programme in Matlab. My ternary diagrams were awash with random squiggles. I lost all patience with the project and went home at 7 pm. It was strange since it was still light out at the time. Maybe Daylight Savings is throwing me off my groove. Or maybe it's other things, PMS included. *shrugs*
