Friday

It was an increditbly foggy day in NYC when I left.  Just like London!  Kitty ran and hid under the bed as I was leaving.  He saw my red suitcase and he associates that with getting into his own carrier and traveling, which he hates.  Poor baby.  I miss him when I go away.

You're welcome! Thanks for reading about it. I get a lot of pleasure from sharing my trip with other people. I guess one of the downfalls of traveling alone is not being able to share your experiences with anyone, so I am making up for that now :)

So glad you are back. I am so proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone. I have heard that the locals don't necessarily care much for Americans, but it's unfortunate that you had to experience that at a pub of all places. That's where people are supposed to be fun and let their guard down a bit. I'm still debating on WHERE to go for my vacation this year. Mexico is my fall back plan, but I'd really like to go somewhere new in Mexico, or anywhere for that matter, as long as I haven't been there before.

Maybe you should go somewhere new in Mexico, that way it's the best of both worlds....you are still in MX, but it's also still new to you! Are you fluent in Spanish? Will you be traveling there alone?

I am not fluent in Spanish. Actually, I took a couple years in high school and have been to Mexico 5 times, but I am no where near fluent. If I go somewhere other than Sayulita this year I will be traveling alone. I just have to think of a good place to go and find somewhere cheap to stay.
