It's been 5 years since the attacks now. (shrug) I fell asleep during some thing where the kids of 9/11 heroes who died gave interviews. It's a sad thing - but so many worse things have happened. I don't feel particularily strong about the whole thing in any direction, actually. I hate phony patriotic people waving flags today...but I'm not saying

I agree with you on the 9/11 thing.

And we don't even realize that sort of terrorist things that are going on in other countries. We're just "poor us, we got attacked"

I mean yes, its sad innocent people died and families were torn apart, but you are right, other worse things have happened and worse things will continue to happen. The US just thinks they are indestructable that they don't know what to do when something does happen to us.

Either way, I felt like I was the only one not being like 'OMG!!! 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11" yesterday.

My support to the 9/11 thing is owning that documentary we watched in Econ class. That is an awesome documentary. I think that's the sort of things that matter.

I agree...such terrible things have been happening all over the world. Yes, 9/11 was a HUGE thing...but did we say "we are all British today" or anything when bad things happen there? =/
