Maria, my mom, and I went to visit some of my dad's side of the family, but my grandma was the only one home. So we talked to her for awhile. Well Maria and I didn't talk, because my grandma only speaks spanish and we're too embarassed to speak it, so we just sit and listen. lol My mom is all fluent though. She totally sounds like she's Mexican,

oh my gosh what a weird day, i cant believe you have a whole other part of your family and your dad hadn't told you, i cant even imagine what thats like. i dont think you sound selfish about not wanting to share your dad, i'd feel really weird if my dad had children with some other woman and they didn't grow up with us and stuff, i can't imagine my parents not being together, i dont really think i'd handle it well, so I admire people like you all the more Angie. but on the other side, maybe one day you'll get to know these other half siblings quite well and become closer to them when you're all older, which i guess could be a nice thing to have.

Yeah I hope to someday become closer to my other siblings. I love my family so much and adding to it would be such a great thing!

I can't even imagine my parents being together. I think it's best that they're divorced. They're such different people. Wow it would just be weird if they were together. Ick I don't even want to think about it! lol I guess it's because they've been separated since I was 10, so I'm just used to them not being together.

and it's not selfish that you don't like sharing your dad. (you know that you and maria are his favorite...that's probably weird for the other kids but you know....)

not to turn this back to me but i HATE going to visit my dad, and then hearing his wife's kids call him DAD. that rips out my heart, and i've heard them call him that for 10 years now. they're not even his blood. who said i wanted to share?

dads can be funny. especially when they have gaps in their teeth. :D
