Last Day of School
Finally! The last day of the quarter has arrived! *throws confetti in the air* Honestly, though, I'm glad. count5umi wrote about the icy rain, so there's no need for me to repeat it. It's still dark and cloudy outside, so I'm not surprised. Didn't sleep well last night because of the call.
[Flackback Time]
I called Mom last night, telling her that my last class was at 12:30 today (of course, I didn't know about CD until Tuesday). She bitched about how I was irresponsible, and how I waited until the "last minute" to tell her. She also tried to pin the blame on my "new roommates." I told her that I don't hang out with Shelly, and defended Blackie when she made it sound like it was Blackie's fault that I was lacking. She pulled this big-ass lecture on how I need to "plan ahead." Oh, if only she knew me that well...too bad. She doesn't know her own daughter very well, I'm afraid. But hey, a girl has to keep some secrets from Mommy Dearest because the mother would not understand, and it may break her heart.. After that, she suggested that I call Uncle Eric and see if he can pick me up. I did, and he will Friday. I just need to call him today and see what time would that be.
Cut to present. Turned in my CoA comp pages (all of them were not completed, but at least 75% were). I was surprised when Mr. Kinney let us turn them in and leave. He even said that he knows what it's like: everybody wants to leave early. In a way, he sympathesized with us. I think some people pulled a Road Runner on us and left like hell. I stayed back and revised my DVD interface from the midterm. Took me about 3 hours to do it, and retype my design statement, but it was worth it. Put the interface in Kinney's dropoff box and gave him a printout of my statement.
Now I'm working to finish my last AMV for the year: "A Present from Full Moon." Actually, it's 95% done; just need to put the ending credits on it.
