I know this phrase is way overused and undermeant, but I completely know what you mean, minus the tour stuff. At the end of last month I lost one of my really good friends from high school and it seems that we drifted the same way you two did.
I guess it just hurts to know that there isn't a chance to sit together and reminisce. I can tell you that it will be okay though. It hurts, but you do have friends that are there for you. Feel free to call if you ever want to. Even if it's just to cry, I will listen.
I miss you and wish we could be together. We could share our memories of past friends and talk reminisce for them.
