Hell, yeah, my animals talk to me. :D Mine is currently sulking at me for not giving him chicken!

Minerva sulks at me on a very regular basis. She thinks I should catch young tender creatures, weaken them up for her, and hold them down for her to finish. She is not amused in the least that I feed her mush out of a can.

I assume they mean talking in English, since the cats already talk to us all the time. James is usually asking for food, and Lily expressing her displeasure that the universe does not bow down at her command, and Tenchi has an opinion on everything.
