3rd Feather [video|commentlog] (Backdated to 11-29, Te Ata is cuffed to Zeke <3)

Dec 01, 2011 20:51

[The video comes on and Te Ata's unamused face appears. She lifts up her arm to show she's cuffed to someone.]

Anyone having any luck getting these off? I can't break the cuff or the chain with what I have.

that's highly impractical, stuck 8|, commentlog, event, video

Break your fingers?

[Te Ata grimaces.]

I would prefer not to do that except as an absolute last resort.

Ehh, it wouldn't be that bad. You could have someone heal it right away, and breaks don't even hurt that much if you handle them properly.

[Not-so-subtly trying to talk Te Ata into breaking her hand. Shal doesn't want to be the first to try it on himself, what if the Keep does something funny? You totally want to be the test subject, right, Te Ata?]

[Bad Shal, bad. Te Ata is not going to break her hand no matter what you say.]

I would still prefer to wait and see what happens. I'm not going to try it unless it lasts more than 4 days, because it may not work and then I'm stuck with broken fingers while I find someone to heal me.

Quite the metal epidemic we're having, yes? Me and my accomplice here are actually in the middle of an attempt to break free! I shall let you know if- Ezra! Be careful with that! [BANG CLANG] OW, I SAID CAREFUL- MY FINGERS!

[The transmission's just going to be cut short there.]

Y-You missed the shackle...

Wh-what? Oh- oh yes I'm fine- yes...

[He's flexing his hand, making sure nothing is broken.]

They're a rather strong material. Fear not, though! We are not yet out of ideas!

[There's the sound of scraping metal and another CLANG.]

Over there. Yes, by the fire. Hold it close... Closer... Too close! Augh! Okay- that's good- let's just hold it here while it warms up...

...I wouldn't recommend doing that. That will probably hurt worse than trying to break it with force.

I really don't think breaking these are going to work.

That's just great. And neither of our keys work in the lock.

Yeah I been thinking about that. So we've all got keys right? Then someone here has to have the one that can open yours.

To be honest I think it's weird they gave us the keys at all, even though we have to find the one that fits ours.
