Question of the day.

Why do ice cream sandwiches melt so much faster than most ice cream, when it's stored in the freezer also?

Hmm, maybe because of body heat. We hold ice cream sandwiches in our hands, while we hold popsicles with a stick and eat ice cream with a spoon. Think about it, ice cream that we hold in our hand that's protected by a frozen layer of chocolate (like a Klondike bar) doesn't melt as easily because of the insulation. It's the actual sandwiches with the soft cookie like outside that melt.

That was WAY too long of a reply. Oh well.
