I'd try the Covent Garden area. Although it is "touristy", it's still rich with thestre history and street performance.

I'm going to be in Europe in April too. A lot of people I know seem to be going to France and England especially. What days are you going to be in Paris? Tis one of my stops along the way.

My folks have been there, but they (read: my mom) ain't swanky enough to do anything interesting.

I'm sure you won't have any problems finding theater and artsy goodness though. Tis kinda what it's known for, I believe. :P

I'll be there April 9-20, but I plan to train it to london april 18-19 probably.

nope, since I"m planning on going to an intensive workshop. But I have a couple people I"m gonna try to look up, but mostly in london.
When are you going?
