Musings of a 24 adict.
So, 24 Season 5 just showed Episode 13 tonight.. all I can say in public is, OMFG!!
For those that haven't been keeping up; the season opened with the death with two of 24's most beloved recurring characters, Former President Davis Palmer and Michelle Dessler, being killed in the opening 10 minutes of the show. This put Season 5 up with every other season right from the get go (They usually kill off 2 recurring characters every season.)
Things had been fairly tame on the killing main people front, up until episode 12. At the very end of last weeks episode, Edgar bought the farm, bringing the main body count up to 3. This week, the blood shed continued as Lyn McGill had to sacrafice himself inorder to save everyone else in CTU and Tony Almeida (one of 4 characters still remaining from the series first season, not to mention my favorite character) was killed. So far this brings us to 5.
All I have to say is, I LOVE SEASON 5. I know, they just killed my favorite character. But ya know what? It was his time. And I think that's why I love 24 so much. No one is safe, except for maybe the main character Jack Bauer... but even then; after all the major cast that has been offed so far this season, I'm starting to wonder of Season 5 will see the end of Jack.
