As some of you may know, I'm somewhat a fan of mecha anime. While there have been games in the past that have used robots as part of their theme or gimmick, I must admit that I have not felt very compelled to play any of them ( Read more... )

Hiyama? That IS an impressive name to be seeing here. The story looks pretty cool, as well.

The answer would be yes and no. Technically, Seigi's voice actor in the credits is listed as ほうでん亭ノドガシラ (houden takashi no dogashira....don't ask me what that means because I have no idea), but anyone with ears that has played the last couple of Zelda games, has seen Genshiken and watched either GaoGaiGar or Might Gaine knows what Hiyama Nobuyuki sounds like.

If you like Gogyou-san's work (I can't determine whether or not her real name is "Ryoko Ono"), you should check out this drama CD series where she plays a character named Ruriko Yuugiri in a game called "Ashita no Kimi to Au Tame ni." I'm surprised seiyuus like her don't expand more into mainstream anime:

I'll have to look that up when I get some free time. I know I've seen that title before, but don't know where.

As for the seiyuu thing, well...some of them I guess like that sort of work. It's like the girl that voiced Hagiwara Yukiho in Idolm@ster. She used to do nude modeling(?) before becoming a voice actress, and after Live 4 U came out, there were rumors that she was looking to return to doing that instead of doing more voice work.
