Game Rant: Multiples of multiples (Love 2 Quad)

As anyone who plays these games would know, it is important to go outside the "trusted" companies every once in a while, if only to get an idea of what product quality is like and to (hopefully) find a good title that not many people may know about. In the case of yours truly, voice cast and who is involved in production usually holds weight when ( Read more... )

Heh. Even before you talked about meh-ness, I was thinking that this game sounded kinda dull. Miku impersonation aside. XD

The funny thing about that is that you'd expect it to be a little more interesting with six (6!) people contributing to the scenario...

Ah, Chitose's ending sounds quite sad. Wataru will live to fulfill his destiny, but he has lost all his friends, the world he knew, and the one who mattered to him most. In some ways, being in stasis like that is worse than death. Speaking of which, some of the CGs of Mirai's story imply that she ceases to exist entirely thanks to the success of Wataru's mission. That, and Mirai appears to wear a "plugsuit" much like that seen in the Muvluv Alternative series (who's Nanami again among the list of characters Nogami Nana has played ( ... )

Mirai does cease to exist in her ending, as the change to the timeline undid something that would allow her to exist in the future. There's this item though that allows her to be connected to Wataru, which causes her to rematerialize in the "present" and live with Wataru. Yes, I thought it was kinda meh.

As far as Nanami, I was talking about Souma Nanami from this game.

Well, I think the comparison between Honoka and Yukie is sort of unfair, as Honoka is an imouto character with some housewife tacked on, whereas Yukie was sword-wielder with yamato nadeshiko tacked on. Housewife and yamato nadeshiko are very much appart because for the latter you have to specifically design the character to be yamato nadeshiko.

I'm currently playing Akiiro Renka, and will write the review on that when I finish. Surprised to find a comic party alumnus in that game's cast...

Oh, and I forgot to add that "Akazawa Kaede" from what I can find out is just another pseudonym for Taguchi Hiroko. She recently got some fame as "uber-imouto" Kasugano Sora from Yosuga no Sora.
