I said it on bdf and I will say it here to..... We love you just the way you are, and you have never been anything, but supportive and motivational! Don't feel like you of all people don't belong. Every person adds perspective to the site to make it the supportive well rounded place it is.

I think most people on the bored have some sort of disordered eating rather than a diagnosable disease. I wouldn't worry about it. I love reading your posts on the board. You always have good advice. I always concidered myself like you up until about 6 months ago when I started slipping into more of a restricting cycle. I still mess up and I do it alot but if I do can't even sleep. I would say you are lucky for getting help when you did. Sometime I want to get some too but I'm scared of the whole process and of losing this part of me. You aren't a fraud. You go to the board to support others and get support and thats what it is there for. Anyway, don't worry. Everyone on there loves you!

I think Heather's right... that most of us on BDF don't have an ed (according to the DSM, which I also hate). I know that I don't technically have an ed. The important part is, you understand what it's like, even if you're living in the aftermath of the worst parts of it. Like you said, eating disorders are mental illnesses, not just sickness of the body...
Even if we recover, we never forget.

thanks everyone! i think i just became a 'sad drunk'. happens when i drink alone *shrugs* i'll still be frequenting bdf, so you're stuck with me for a while yet!
